The Herrin Business/Industrial Park is owned by the Herrin Chamber of Commerce. Twenty-five acres remain, consisting of five lots of five acres (+/-) each. The lots are priced very reasonably. All or a portion of the remaining property can be purchased.
All infrastructure is in place. The Park is served by Ameren with 12.5KV electricity and an 8 inch natural gas line. An 8 inch sewer line is provided by the City of Herrin and a 10 inch water line is via Rend Lake Intercity Water System. The Park is located in the Enterprise Zone.
The Business/Industrial Park is located just west of Illinois State Route 148 (which is Park Avenue through the center of town) at 2100-2200 West Herrin Street. West Herrin Street is a paved two-lane highway connecting to I-57 within seven to eight minutes driving time of Exist 59 on I-57.
West Herrin Street, running in front of the Herrin Business/Industrial Park has been upgraded with the addition of turning lanes and widening of the road.
