Community Park And Recreation Complex
Herrin boasts a beautiful, well kept city park for swimming, tennis, hiking, small picnics, large outings, ball games and scenic enjoyment. The park features tennis courts, a large multi-purpose swimming pool, and seven ball diamonds. Adjacent to the park is a multi-purpose recreational complex with a quarter-mile all weather track and a one-mile lighted walking trail.

Herrin Swimming Pool
Located at the Herrin City Park. Season passes are available and group, semiprivate and private lessons are scheduled during the summer. Separate pool for small children. Opens Memorial Day Weekend. The Herrin Tigershark swim team is for all ages. Contact the pool at 942-6725
