Herrinfesta Italiana Festival

The annual HERRINFESTA ITALIANA spotlights Herrin’s rich, Italian heritage, draws over 60,000 people to the community. The Festa lasts for five days in and around the Herrin Civic Center on Memorial Day weekend, from Thursday through Monday. Activities include a showcase of entertainment, authentic Italian food, an art gallery, a carnival, Bocce Ball Tournament, Golf Tournament, Bigga Nose and Pasta Eating contests, and many other activities for all ages. The Miss Herrinfesta Italiana Scholarship Pageant kicks off the festivities on the Monday before Memorial Day.
