Sports / Sporting Venues
Athletic teams from Herrin’s schools have won more than their share of State Championships. In addition to a full slate of year round sports in the educational system, Herrin is home to many summer youth programs, such as baseball leagues for boys, softball leagues for girls, soccer leagues, volleyball competitions, and a swimming team.

For golfing enthusiasts, Herrin is within 20 miles of nine beautiful golf courses, ranging from amateur to professional levels.
